About the Role

The Lead Product Manager is responsible for leading a core AI-driven product focused on helping organizations securely find answers, insights, and decisions from their enterprise content. This role owns product strategy, roadmap, and execution for a sophisticated AI and search solution, working closely with engineering, marketing, solution engineers, sales, and other key stakeholders. This position plays a critical role in shaping how enterprise customers adopt AI responsibly, particularly in regulated industries such as healthcare, insurance, and government. This product is part of Hyland's Content Innovation Cloud (CIC) - the company's cloud-native foundation for unifying content, data, and processes across the enterprise.

Here's What You'll Do

  • Lead continuous customer discovery through interviews, pilots, and feedback loops; validate problem statements, solution approaches, and value hypotheses using real customer evidence; translate discovery insights into roadmap decisions and measurable outcomes
  • Partner closely with engineering to define requirements for AI-powered capabilities - including search, retrieval, enrichment, and agent-based workflows leveraging RAG, Graph RAG, and agentic orchestration - guiding execution from ideation through launch, iteration, and optimization
  • Maintain strong awareness of the AI, enterprise search, and intelligent knowledge systems landscape; track emerging approaches across generative AI and AI-assisted decision making; apply competitive insights to influence roadmap, differentiation, and positioning
  • Partner with Marketing, Solution Engineers, and Sales to articulate clear product value and differentiation; support enablement materials, demos, release narratives, and customer-facing content; translate technical progress into outcome-focused messaging for internal and external audiences
  • Serve as a trusted product voice across engineering, marketing, solution engineering, sales, and leadership; influence decisions through clarity, credibility, and data-driven reasoning; shape thought leadership and mentor and collaborate with peers and cross-functional partners
