As an Access Control Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, and support visitor and employee badge processes while maintaining clear, professional communication. You will remain highly visible, conduct routine patrols nearby, and report security-related concerns to site leaders. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Control access at gates and/or entrances by verifying identification, issuing and collecting visitor credentials, managing sign-in and sign-out logs, and directing authorized personnel to the proper areas.
• Monitor CCTV, alarms, and other access control systems, communicate via radio and/or phone, and report unusual activity or policy violations in accordance with post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, coordinating with site leadership and/or emergency services, and completing required documentation.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production areas, parking lots, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized entry, theft, and/or damage, with working conditions that may vary by site area.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
