The Messaging Platform team, part of the Digital Marketing Technology organization, builds the critical platforms our internal marketers use to engage with customers. We are responsible for the core tooling that powers communications across channels, integrating deeply with the Salesforce Platform, Data Cloud, and Marketing Cloud Next. This team is at the forefront of this mission, responsible for building the next generation of intelligent AI agents on Agentforce to drive massive productivity gains and unlock new marketing capabilities. We are seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Manager of Software Engineering to lead our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading, mentoring, and growing a team of skilled engineers dedicated to building our next generation platform, utilizing Agentforce and Salesforce platform. You will own the team's technical roadmap and delivery, focusing on the intersection of the Salesforce Platform, Data Cloud, and AI, RAG, and LLM technologies. We are looking for a leader who can partner effectively with Product Management to drive strategy and vision, while also ensuring the team maintains a high bar for technical excellence. You will champion a quality-first mentality and guide your team in building the scalable, reliable, and performant systems that will power the future of our marketing tools, enabling more relevant customer communications with less effort. The typical base salary range for this position is $172,500 - $260,100 annually. In select cities within the San Francisco and New York City metropolitan area, the base salary range for this role is $207,800 - $285,800 annually. The range represents base salary only, and does not include company bonus, incentive for sales roles, equity or benefits, as applicable. | |
