Security Officer - Refinery Rover Patrol

As a Security Officer - Refinery Rover Patrol in Olive Branch, MS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to alarms and calls for service. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site personnel and visitors, and support access control and incident reporting. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, hazardous material-related notifications, and access issues.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, process areas, loading and unloading zones, and the perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
• Monitor access control points by verifying identification and/or visitor authorization, maintaining sign-in and sign-out documentation, and directing vendors and drivers to designated areas.
• Complete timely reports for incidents, patrol observations, and unusual activity, and communicate updates to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 1+ years of security experience.
• Have supervisory experience.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
