As a Screener at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will help support smooth operations by conducting security-related screening of packages and equipment, monitoring access points, and documenting activity. You will stay visible on the floor, communicate clearly with team members and visitors, and deliver people-first customer service. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to employees, drivers, contractors, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Screen individuals and deliveries entering the distribution location, including verifying identification and access authorization, confirming appointments, and directing traffic flow to designated areas.
  • Conduct security-related screening at entry points, which may include checking bags, using walkthrough or handheld screening devices, and/or verifying shipments and documentation per site requirements.
  • Monitor alarms, CCTV, and access control systems, complete visitor and vehicle logs, and report unusual activity to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions taken and coordinating with on-site personnel and responding authorities as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have 1+ years of security-related experience.
  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • Have a minimum of 2 years of security experience
  • Have X-Ray screening experience preferred.
  • Have customer service experience preferred.
  • Have access control and/or badge experience preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
