Security Officer - Foot Patrol

As a Security Officer - Bank Perimeter Patrol in LOS ANGELES, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to discourage security-related incidents. You will respond to concerns, document observations, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors while delivering customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify irregular conditions.
• Monitor access points and common areas, observe for unusual activity, and document observations per post orders and/or site requirements.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalating disputes when appropriate and requesting assistance from site management and/or emergency services.
• Complete timely reports of daily activities, patrol findings, incidents, and maintenance concerns, and communicate pertinent information during shift turnovers.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
