You will conduct routine patrols of yards, docks, and building perimeters, stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support associates and drivers with professional customer service. You will document observations, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity, teamwork, and an agile, reliable, innovative, people-first approach.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following post orders, access control procedures, and site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, yard, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor inbound and outbound traffic at entry points, verifying identification and/or shipping documentation as required, and directing drivers and visitors according to site procedures.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site management and/or emergency services when appropriate.
• Complete routine security-related reports and activity logs, document observations during rounds, and communicate noteworthy conditions to the oncoming shift.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
