Title: IT Internal Audit
Company: Public Technology Company (Semiconductors)
Compensation: $120,000-$135,000 base + bonus and equity eligibility
Location: San Diego, CA (onsite 5 days/week with some flexibility)

Our client, a large publicly traded technology organization, is expanding its Internal Audit team and is seeking an IT Auditor at the Staff level. This role sits within a corporate Internal Audit and Advisory function and partners closely with business and technology stakeholders to assess risk, strengthen controls, and improve processes across a complex global environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Support the execution of risk-based IT internal audits across core technology and business operations
* Prepare audit planning documentation, including process narratives and control flow diagrams
* Identify, assess, and test IT risks and related controls
* Design and perform audit procedures to evaluate control effectiveness
* Leverage data analytics to enhance audit testing and insights
* Document findings clearly and communicate observations to audit leadership and business partners
* Monitor changes in the business and technology landscape to assess emerging risks
* Contribute to continuous improvement of audit methodologies and practices

Qualifications

* 6-10 years of experience in IT audit, internal audit, external audit, or SOX compliance within a technology or high-growth environment
* Big 4 or large regional public accounting experience, plus exposure to a large public company
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field
* Professional certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CIA, CFE, or similar preferred
* Experience working in global or multinational environments with occasional travel flexibility
* Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively

* Core systems include Oracle, HFM, and Microsoft platforms

  • the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
  • licensure and certification requirements;

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco by Highspring believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure.
