You must be able to work40 hoursper week on-site. Many students will be limited to part-timeduring the academic year. We are seeking a motivated Summer Intern to support our Service Programs Team in optimizing mobile service technician operations for Robotaxi servicing needs. The intern will play a key role in a project to enhance Mobile Technician route efficiency by identifying opportunities to integrate new repair segments (e.g., robotaxi repairs, B2B customers, Tesla internal fleet maintenance) into Mobile technicians' schedules. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to translate data insights into actionable strategies. The ideal candidate bridges software development thinking and business acumen to drive scalable solutions. What You'll Do Analyze historical route data to identify patterns and opportunities for optimizing technician schedules Collaborate with service teams to understand operational constraints and requirements Develop SQL/Excel-based models to quantify the impact of adding non-customer repairs to routes Create visualizations and reports to communicate findings to stakeholders Collaborate with software teams to evaluate or design tools that support route optimization workflows What You'll Bring Pursuing aMaster's degree or MBAin Business, Data Analytics, Operations Research, or related field Preferred:Prior experience with SQL, Excel, and data analysis tools Strong business acumen with the ability to connect data insights to operational goals,paired with a foundational understanding of software development structures Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges Strong written and verbal communication skills Compensation and Benefits Benefits As a full-time Tesla Intern, you will be eligible for: Medical plans > plan options with $0 payroll deduction Family-building, fertility, adoption and surrogacy benefits Dental (including orthodontic coverage) and vision plans.
