KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Specialist to join our Federal Advisory practice.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary / cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities, develop machine learning models, and data science solutions
  • Utilize processes / best practices to plan, lead, and execute delivery of data analytics and AI engagements
  • Work with engagement teams to discover data sources, create data requests; collaborate with data engineers to develop / utilize ETL process to ingest and enrich structured / unstructured data
  • Perform explanatory data analyses, generate / test working hypotheses, prepare / analyze historical data and identify patterns; perform machine learning, natural language, and statistical analysis methods (such as classification, cluster analysis, collaborative filtering, sentiment analysis, language modeling, time-series analysis, regression, statistical inference, etc.)
  • Rapidly learn / develop skills in utilizing cloud compute, data storage resources, and other on-prem / cloud-native services for data acquisition, management, transformation, model development / deployment
  • Contribute to developing dashboards, UI and interactive tools to support clients to turn their data into actionable insights / reproducible reports
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of three years of data analytics solutions, data engineering, or machine learning modeling experience; U.S. Federal government consulting experience preferred
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
  • Ability to apply artificial intelligence / machine learning techniques to achieve business goals; ability to work with business to understand available resources and constraints around data (sources, integrity, definitions); provide assistance and resolve issues
  • Proficiency with programming languages such as Python, R, Java, SQL and open-source packages / libraries
  • Design, build, operationalize, and maintain robust data pipelines, demonstrating deep SAP ERP knowledge to integrate complex financial / logistical data into the Jupiter platform using Databricks, Python, and Spark
  • Experience leveraging Jupiter platform to engineer and model curated datasets from SAP ERP pipeline
  • Experience in leveraging cloud services, Cloud Certifications (e.g. - AWS Solution Architect, AWS Machine Learning, Google Data Engineering, Azure AI Engineer Associate, etc.) preferred
  • Ability to travel as required to support firm engagements
  • Applicant must possess a U.S. Government Secret clearance
