DESCRIPTION OF WORK

The Clerical Assistant 2 in this position will provide clerical and office support involving the typing and processing of documents and performing a variety of office functions necessary to ensure the efficient operation of the Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement. This includes operating a personal computer using Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access. Operates an electric typewriter, fax machine, postage meter and photocopier to perform duties. Creates CAD/RMS case numbers and enters the information into ITS. Reviews and processes AIR & IR reports, Citations and Adjudications through ITS. Assists the Automotive Officer with automotive duties, consisting of vehicle maintenance and entries in the Fleet Management, M5 Program. Responsible for typing and revising letters and correspondence. Maintains licensee files through purging and filing of PLCB correspondence. Maintains District Office library manuals such as Directives, Special Orders, Personnel Orders, and Memorandums.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week.
- Work hours are 8:15am to 4:15pm, Monday thru Friday with a 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $36,108 (before taxes).

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Graduation from high school; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Additional Requirements:
- Previous experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Previous experience working in a position that required clerical work.
Legal Requirements:
- You must pass a background investigation and meet Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) compliance requirements.
