Radiology Results Representative

Distributes and maintains control of radiology imaging results and performs related clerical duties. Assists physicians, patients, hospital staff, and others with requests for imaging results, works with physician offices to coordinate retrieval of images and/or reports, and maintains image and report tracking system.

REQUIRED:
1. High School diploma or equivalent 2. Ability to type 30 words per minute. 3. Previous experience using computer applications. 4. Previous experience in a fast paced environment. 5. Must be able to function independently. KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED (CON'T) 1. Demonstrated problem solving skills. 2. Demonstrated ability to prioritize in a logical manner. 3. Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency in the usage of medical terminology. 4. Excellent customer service skills. 5. Demonstrated organizational skills.
PREFERRED:
Prior clerical experience, preferably in radiology or other hospital/medical office environment. Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency in the use of medical terminology
