Key Responsibilities * Conduct assessment of vehicle condition, noting any damage or repair required for frame, paint, engine, AC/heater operation, radio, navigation system, tires, etc. * Prepare support documentation related to vehicle condition - including vehicle identification data, condition description, repair costs estimates, photographs, etc. * Maintain current knowledge of applicable labor rates, parts charges and manufacturer's updates; adhere to work instructions/procedures regarding inspections/documentation. * Conduct courtesy walk-around inspections. * Follow all applicable safety and health related procedures. * May be required to locate, start and move vehicles as directed. Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED Generally less than 2 years' experience in a related field Successful ICP Level I written/field exam. Understanding of Baseline Inspections (Electronic Condition Report) & vehicle grading. "Safe drivers needed; valid driver's license required." Good communication and interpersonal skills required. Strong technical aptitude. Body, paint and mechanical repair knowledge. Familiarity with unibody and full-frame vehicles. Good organizational skills needed. Ability to multitask, follow directions and take instruction required. Ability to stand, walk, or sit for prolonged periods of time. Ability to bend, stoop, squat or kneel. Ability to lift and hold at least 10 lbs at waist level for an extended period of time. Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. Vision abilities required include close, distance and color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Schedule: Tuesday - Friday 7:00 AM- 330 PM Saturday 6:30 AM -2:30 PM Preferred 1 - 3 years of experience in the automobile field (i.e., inspections, body/mechanic shop, etc.) strongly preferred. USD 15.10 - 22.60 per hour Compensation: Hourly base pay rate is $15.10 - $22.60/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program. Benefits: Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, and parental leave.
