Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.

UNC Primary Care at Freedom Square is seeking an experienced Primary Care Physician to join our growing primary care team. Located off Green Level Church Road in Apex, NC, our clinic provides comprehensive, family-centered care with convenient access for both families and working professionals. This role offers an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative, patient-focused practice, help shape a growing clinic, and make a meaningful impact on the individuals and families we serve.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications

*Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine

*Active, unrestricted North Carolina medical license (or eligibility to obtain one)

*Strong interest in caring for medically complex adult patients

*Demonstrated experience and interest in addressing mental health needs within a primary care setting Clinical Services Provided

*Comprehensive preventive healthcare

*Acute and sick care

*Annual physicals and wellness visits

*Immunizations

*Women's health services

*Management of acute and chronic conditions, including diabetes, hypertension, and asthma

*Routine screening and diagnostic testing

* Graduation from an accredited school of medicine.
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
* North Carolina physician license. BC/BE in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
* DEA;ACLS;MD
Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements:
* Language Skills: Should be able to communicate proficiently in English.

REASONING ABILITY

High-level quantitative and qualitativereasoning skills are essential to diagnosemedical and clinical issues presented by patients.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

North Carolina Medical License, DEA License, BLS/ACLS certification preferred. Board-certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
