Description Our client is implementing Freshworks as its enterprise ITSM platform to modernize workflows, reduce unnecessary customization, and drive automation across IT Operations. We are seeking a highly consultative ITSM Solutions Architect who can partner with stakeholders across the organization, guide process design, and ensure bestpractice adoption throughout the Freshworks ecosystem. This role goes beyond traditional system administration - it combines platform ownership, continuous improvement, stakeholder engagement, and light technical solutioning to ensure ITSM processes are standardized, scalable, and aligned with organizational needs. Key Responsibilities: Platform & Process Ownership Serve as the primary point of contact for ITSM process design during and after the Freshworks implementation. Evaluate existing IT workflows and recommend standardized, repeatable solutions based on platform best practices. Maintain a roadmap for enhancements, automation, and continuous improvement across ITSM processes. Act as a thought leader on what can (and should) be automated, leveraging native platform capabilities. Stakeholder Collaboration Work directly with IT managers, technical teams, and business units to gather requirements and validate workflow designs. Facilitate workshops, discovery sessions, and intake conversations for new or updated processes. Provide guidance to stakeholders to prevent unnecessary customization and reduce long-term operational complexity. Partner with HR, IT Asset Management, and other functional groups as/if additional modules are adopted. Platform Configuration & Administration Configure forms, fields, roles, workflows, routing rules, and automations in Freshworks. Manage sandbox reviews, mockups, and iterative design with internal customers. Maintain data integrity and ensure alignment across integrations and connected systems. Participate in backlog grooming, sprint planning, and agile ceremonies as part of ongoing enhancement cycles. Implementation Support Work closely with Freshworks implementation partners (e.g., Flycast) to understand baseline configuration and recommended practices. Learn and adopt Freshworks capabilities throughout the rollout, enabling faster internal ownership postimplementation. Assist in validating integration approaches, data elements, and workflow recommendations from the vendor team.
