CPCCo's Mission Assurance and Optimization department is looking for a dynamic Software Quality Project Manager to effectively lead, manage, motivate, and mentor staff responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of software for CPCCo. Under general direction of the Quality Assurance Manager, the Software Quality Project Manager will manage, plan, and supervise comprehensive company-wide Software Quality Assurance programs and services.

The responsibilities of a Software Quality Project Manager include:
* As our Software Quality Project Manager, you will be the main point-of-contact for the company-wide Software Quality Assurance (SQA) program and responsible for implementation of the program per Central Plateau Cleanup Contract.
* Maintains the company level program, providing a repeatable structured software lifecycle management processes to ensure projects can be compliantly completed within scope, schedule, and budget.
* Ensuring company and department compliance with applicable contract direction, DOE Orders, and state and federal laws and regulations.
* Providing effective leadership and direction for assigned programs, including strengthening and maintaining adequate internal controls, coordination of audit assistance and response, and develop an environment of service, teamwork, and mentoring toward the rest of the company to ensure sustainable compliance.
* Participating in designing, developing, and implementing comprehensive procedures processes to software lifecycle management.
* Representing the organization as the business or technical contact for projects, and interact with senior personnel on significant programmatic, business, or technical matters often requiring coordination between organizations.
* Advising company leadership on Software Quality Assurance related issues.
* Guiding the successful implementation of new or revised major programs and function in a project leadership role.
* Applying business and technical expertise with knowledge of related disciplines, demonstrating ingenuity and creativity when providing business or technical solutions to complex problems.
* Interfacing with varied levels of organizations to define needs and high-quality solutions that are both cost-effective and schedule sensitive.
* Making creative, mature decisions based on experience and judgement.
* Tracking and communicating graphic visualizations of data to describe program metrics and provide analytical insights.
* Maintaining awareness and knowledge of advancements within the software development industry and consensus standards.
* Performing related duties and special projects, as assigned.


Basic Qualifications


* Career Grade 20: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience plus 8 or more years of relevant experience.
* Senior Grade 21: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience plus 10 or more years of relevant experience.
* Principal Grade 22: Bachelor's or equivalent combination of education and experience plus 12 or more years of relevant experience.

The higher posted level has greater scope, complexity, authority, impact. The level offered to the selected candidate will be based on the needs of the company and the candidate's education, training, and/or experience


Desired Qualifications


* Familiarity with ASME NQA-1 2008/2009 requirements DOE O 414.1D, "Quality Assurance."
* Familiarity with industry consensus codes and standards for software procurement, development and life cycle management such as IEEE, IEC, ISA, or ANS.
* Software Quality Engineer Certification CSQ.
* Knowledge of Software Lifecycle management standards and software project management methodologies (e.g., Agile), software quality engineering principles, Software Lifecycle administrative procedures and documentation, and quality assurance auditing principles and practices.


Compensation & Benefits


In accordance with the CPCCo salary determination process, CPCCo takes into consideration the level of assigned job duties and responsibilities, and the candidate's education, training, and/or experience relative to internal peers and the external labor market. CPCCo will not solicit salary history for candidates.

Expected annualized pay range based on full time schedule (40 hours per week):

* Career Level Grade 20: $114,700 - $183,450
* Senior Level Grade 21: $126,200 - $202,000
* Principal Level Grade 22: $137,150 - $240,000

In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for variable pay awards.
