The Technical Maintenance Specialist of nora systems, Inc. is responsible for providing technical flooring maintenance, training and knowledge expertise to the sales staff and customers to ensure customer satisfaction, which is necessary to maintain the continued success of the nora business.

Primary areas of responsibility include (but are not limited to):

1. Work with Account Executives and customer maintenance employees in providing floor maintenance programs, advanced knowledge of cleaning chemicals and cleaning equipment.

2. Provide technical support for business relationships with EVS Directors (Healthcare) to develop training programs of their maintenance employees including any new hires.

3. Evaluate and assess customer maintenance issues and service calls to determine most viable resolution option and to ensure timely cleaning and/or service and on budget execution.

4. Prepare cleaning protocol and systems cleaning for customer visits.

5. Partner with sales and service representatives to implement chemical handling systems for new and existing accounts and provide training and technical assistance.

6. Provide written, on-site and telephone technical maintenance support to customers and sales as required.

7. Stay current on product and technological developments.

8. Act as liaison with sales, Technical Specialists and Technical Department on all maintenance issues.

9. Provide technical assistance as first responder for forensic gathering of information.

10. Communicate field service call results to customers, Account Executives and Technical Department as appropriate.

11. Manage travel within the approved expense budget (additional costs must be approved by the nora Technical Manager).

12. Answer the nora technical phone lines and respond to the nora technical mailbox when available to do so.

Requirements/Experience

* Strong hands-on experience in chemical and mechanical operations, as well as cleaning machines and dispensing systems in the flooring industry

* Self-motivated and ability to manage multiple projects

* Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, and ability to interact with people at all levels. Spanish language skills a plus

* Strong problem-solving skills and data and situational analysis capabilities

* Intermediate skills in Word, Excel and Outlook

* Extensive travel domestically, with occasional international travel as required

* Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends

* 5+ years' experience with flooring maintenance

* 5+ years' experience with flooring maintenance in the healthcare field

* Experience in project management and conflict resolution
