SUMMARY: Reporting to the Director of Information Technology, this is a working manager position responsible for the delivery, support, and continuous improvement of enterprise applications supporting US WorldMeds' business operations. Highly energetic, passionate champion for the business and can quickly establish credibility within the organization. The position provides Tier 2 and Tier 3 support for application-layer issues and owns application oriented projects including system enhancements, integrations, reporting development, database connectivity, application administration, and security management. The role partners closely with business stakeholders to understand needs, resolve issues, and advance organizational goals through the effective use of technology. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The following reflects management's definition of essential functions for this job but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned. Management may assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time due to reasonable accommodation or other reasons. * Build effective partnerships with function line managers across Quality, Clinical, and Corporate teams, influencing capability development to align with IT architecture, vision, and business priorities. * Balance immediate needs with long-term goals to create an IT roadmap alongside senior leaders, IT management, steering committees, and investment plans. * Oversee application initiatives including enhancements, upgrades, integrations, and reporting solutions. * Deliver Tier 2 and Tier 3 support for enterprise applications, resolve issues efficiently, and keep users informed throughout the process. * Take responsibility for application security administration, license management, system configurations, and documentation. * Manage integrations involving ETL, EDI, APIs, and third-party data interfaces. * Facilitate collaboration and translate technical concepts into accessible language. * Document requirements, use cases, and process flows with business stakeholders, convert these into IT project plans, and ensures successful implementation and operations. * Champion quality and scalability in IT business systems, promoting efficient processes that can adapt to evolving business needs. * Delegate tasks, empower team members, motivate and coach staff to help them reach their full potential. * Provide hands-on operational support for installed technologies, including configuration, process development, and content management. * Prepare GxP business and technical requirements, use cases, and process flow documentation; develop thorough test plans and scripts, conduct testing, support user acceptance, and manage production rollouts. * Maintain up-to-date systems documentation and ensure compliance with IT policies, SOPs, standards, GxP requirements, and change controls. * Oversee relationships with application vendors, contractors, developers, and Business Analysts. * Contribute to disaster recovery planning and testing. * Perform other responsibilities as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: * Associate's Degree required; Bachelor's Degree preferred. * Minimum 5 years application support or development experience. * Minimum 3 years leading the work of others. * Experience with SQL Server, reporting tools, ETL/EDI, and integrations. * Strong analytical and communication skills.
