Animation Art Director (Contract in Cupertino) This is a 3-month, full-time (40 hours/week), hybrid contract role located in Cupertino, CA. Summary This role supports a fast-paced, multidisciplinary creative studio responsible for bringing visually compelling stories to life across digital services and platforms. The team blends graphic design, motion, and visual storytelling to create refined, high-impact creative experiences. This position partners closely with creative, editorial, and cross-functional teams to shape concepts, resolve ambiguity, and deliver polished visual work across platforms. Our Ideal Candidate
Job Description In this role, you will set creative direction and execute high-quality animation and motion design work across a variety of visual styles. You'll partner with creative and cross-functional teams to develop concepts, design styleframes, and translate abstract ideas into cohesive visual systems and assets. This includes directing character animation, contributing to storytelling and cinematography decisions, and delivering refined visuals across platforms. You will also provide thoughtful creative feedback throughout the production lifecycle, supporting the overall success of the creative studio. Education and Experience
