Coordinator Workplace Compliance Immigration Position Summary: The Coordinator Workplace Compliance Immigration provides administrative and operational support for JetBlue's employment-based immigration and compliance activities. This role partners with internal stakeholders and external Immigration Counsel to coordinate case documentation, track immigration status changes, and support compliance with federal regulations. The Coordinator operates within established policies and procedures and escalates complex or sensitive matters as appropriate. The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently, handles sensitive information with discretion, and demonstrates personal values aligned with JetBlue's core values: Safety, Caring, Integrity, Passion, and Fun. Essential Responsibilities
- Coordinate employment-based immigration cases, including nonimmigrant visas and permanent residency filings, in partnership with external Immigration Counsel.
- Track visa expirations, extensions, amendments, and changes in employment status.
- Coordinate case documentation and communications with external immigration counsel.
- Assist with responses to government requests, audits, and inquiries related to immigration matters.
- Assist with maintaining compliance with US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), Department of Labor (DOL), and Department of Homeland Security (DHS) requirements.
- Provide administrative support for Talent Acquisition and onboarding activities related to immigration.
- Attend new hire orientations as needed to support onboarding processes.
- Assist with internal compliance audits and reporting.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and recommend procedural improvements
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Legal Studies or a relevant field; OR demonstrated capability to perform job responsibilities with a High School Diploma/GED and at least four (4) years of previous relevant work experience
- One (1) year of administrative experience
- Working knowledge of U.S. immigration laws and policies
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and diplomacy
- Ability to be flexible, multi-task, prioritize, and manage multiple activities simultaneously in a fast-paced, changing environment
- Strong team player with the ability to take initiative and work well independently
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage sensitive, confidential information.
- Effective written, verbal and presentation skills
- Available for occasional overnight travel (20%)
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test
- Legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
- Authorization to work in the US is required. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship
Preferred Experience and Qualifications
- One (1) year of visa related work experience
- Valid certification as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR)
- Prior experience supporting immigration or employment compliance
- Experience with employment verification or compliance audits
- Familiarity with E-Verify and government audit processes
- Experience working with Human Resource Information System (HRIS) and Recruitment Management Systems (i.e. SAP/PeopleFluent)
- Experience working with external vendors or legal counsel
- Experience using Microsoft SharePoint

Compensation
- The base pay range for this position is between $64,350.00 and $77,800.00 per year. Base pay is one component of JetBlue's total compensation package, which may also include access to healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan and company match, crewmember stock purchase plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, free space available travel on JetBlue, and more.
