Another Source's client, Sabey Corporation, is recruiting a Senior Manager, Training and Development to join their growing team, onsite at their HQ in Tukwila, WA.

Compensation:

The anticipated annual base salary range for this position is $128,283- 192,425, depending on experience and qualifications. This position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus.

About the role:

The Senior Manager of Training & Development is responsible for leading and managing enterprise learning, professional development, and leadership development initiatives, with a strong focus on integrating organizational culture and emerging technologies, including AI, into how the Company develops and supports its people.

As Sabey continues to expand its portfolio, this role ensures that training and development programs are intentional, measurable, and aligned with business priorities. The Senior Manager of Training & Development partners with leaders across the organization to strengthen workforce readiness, support leadership capability, and drive continuous improvement through disciplined program design, execution, and evaluation.

Your Contributions Will Likely Include:

Strategic Training Leadership

    Partner with business leaders, HR and training personnel to translate organizational goals into actionable learning and development initiatives.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of the corporate learning strategy, ensuring alignment with business priorities and workforce needs.
  • Lead the planning, coordination, and continuous improvement of training programs across business units to ensure quality, consistency, and scalability.

Corporate Training & Development

  • Manage the design, delivery, and evolution of training programs that build technical skills, professional competencies, and leadership capabilities.
  • Establish and maintain best practices, standards, and frameworks for curriculum design, facilitation, and learning evaluation.
  • Oversee day-to-day administration and optimization of the Learning Management System (LMS), including content governance, reporting, and compliance support.

AI Integration in Learning

  • Collaborate with AI and technology partners to integrate AI-enabled tools into learning programs to enhance engagement, personalization, and effectiveness.
  • Support responsible and ethical use of AI in training, with attention to data privacy, transparency, and organizational values.
  • Leverage AI-supported learning analytics to assess program effectiveness and inform continuous improvement.

AI-Driven Change Awareness

  • Stay informed on AI-related workforce and workplace trends and assess their implications for training and capability development.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to leaders on learning strategies that support organizational adaptation to AI-driven change.
  • Support communication and change-readiness efforts related to AI adoption through training and awareness initiatives.

Culture-Infused Onboarding and Development

  • Ensure onboarding and development programs reflect and reinforce Sabey's core values, culture, and employee experience standards.
  • Partner with leaders, HR and training personnel to deliver a consistent, values-based learning experience from onboarding through career progression.

Leadership & Management Development

  • Design and manage leadership and management development programs for frontline, mid-level, and emerging leaders.
  • Coordinate with external vendors, consultants, and learning partners to deliver leadership development solutions.
  • Promote a leadership culture focused on accountability, inclusion, and continuous development.

Continuous Improvement & Impact Measurement

  • Define and track learning metrics to evaluate program effectiveness, engagement, and capability growth.
  • Use data, participant feedback, and benchmarking to refine learning programs and delivery methods.
  • Monitor industry trends and best practices in learning and development, AI-enabled learning, and organizational development to inform program enhancements.

Experience You Will Bring to the Team:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, Business, or a related field required; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in corporate learning, training, organizational development, or leadership development, including 3+ years in a people or program management role.
  • Demonstrated experience designing, delivering, and scaling learning programs with measurable impact on performance, engagement, or capability development.
  • Strong working knowledge of adult learning theory, instructional design principles, and change management practices.
  • Proven ability to lead complex training initiatives, collaborate across functions, and influence stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Experience leveraging digital learning platforms, learning technologies, and emerging tools (including AI-enabled learning solutions) preferred.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, etc.
  • Aptitude and willingness to learn and utilize AI tools and technology.
