As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine foot and/or vehicle patrols, maintain a visible presence that helps to reduce security-related incidents, and respond to alarms and customer needs with clear communication. You will support a welcoming experience while documenting activity using computer or tablet tools. Join a caring, agile team that delivers through teamwork and acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors at a commercial real estate location by carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, common areas, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance or operational concerns.
  • Monitor access points and observe for unusual activity, verify credentials as required by site procedures, and direct visitors to appropriate check-in and/or destinations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notify site management and/or emergency services as needed, and assist with incident documentation.
  • Complete routine reports and shift logs, document patrol observations and incidents, and communicate timely updates to the site supervisor and/or client representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Lifting more than 20 lbs is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Having a guard card or license is preferred.
  • Having alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Having customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
