Job Description




As a Security Officer Credit Union Patrol PT in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols of assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and badge processes. You will greet employees and visitors with strong customer service and clear communication, document observations, and partner with site teams. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by following site-specific policies and security-related procedures at a financial institution location, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to alarms, suspicious activity, and/or other incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site leadership and/or emergency services when needed.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas such as lobbies, teller areas, offices, and/or ATM areas, as well as exterior perimeter checks, as permitted by site policy.
  • Monitor access points and help to control entry by verifying identification, logging visitors, issuing temporary badges, and/or directing individuals to the appropriate area in accordance with site requirements.
  • Complete written reports, incident documentation, and shift activity logs, and communicate observed hazards, maintenance concerns, and/or policy issues to management for follow up.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have 3 or more years combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
  • Provide proof of high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
