Role Overview
The Execution & Content Operations Specialist supports national and key account execution by managing communication workflows, execution content, field tools, and distributor-facing operations. This role ensures that all field-facing materials, platforms, and data are accurate, accessible, and aligned-enabling strong execution across sales, category, distributor, and agency partners. This is a highly operational role focused on organization, accuracy, and cross-functional coordination to support effective field execution.
Key Responsibilities
Key Account Communication & Monthly Execution Cadence
Collect and compile monthly key account execution communications to support national and priority accounts
Proactively follow up to ensure all required execution communications are complete and submitted on time
Adapt execution content not covered in monthly activation calls into presentation-ready formats for internal field platforms (e.g., digital screens, internal portals)
Track communication completion and compliance; publish finalized materials across internal field communication and document management platforms
Content Governance, Usability & Archiving
Conduct monthly user testing for field tools and content updates
Ensure all activation call materials and field-platform links are accessible to third-party distributors
Maintain content accuracy, usability, and governance across field-facing tools
Archive historical execution and sell-in materials within a centralized document library
Engagement Analytics & Insights
Track live attendance for monthly activation calls
Review engagement metrics across execution decks, video content, field platforms, incentive tools, and digital catalogs
Provide high-level insights to support content optimization and improved field execution
Distributor Communications & Contact Data Management
Maintain and routinely clean distributor communication lists within email campaign platforms
Own distributor contact directories and distributor partner mappings
Reconcile distributor contact data with internal reporting systems to ensure alignment across platforms
Execution Tools, SKU & Planogram (POG) Administration
Maintain SKU accuracy across internal execution tools, including images, descriptions, exclusivity, and access
Submit and manage system update requests and review execution plans for anomalies prior to finalization
Support planogram enhancements for top key accounts
Maintain SKU parameters across execution, audit, and compliance systems, including core/non-core designations and share updates
Compliance, Disputes & Operational Support
Review and resolve distributor execution and audit disputes through internal compliance platforms
Deliver monthly reporting on dispute trends and resolutions
Update and distribute audit agency training materials to ensure alignment with current execution standards
Monitor shared execution inboxes daily and route issues to appropriate internal teams
Continuous Improvement & Special Projects
Identify opportunities to enhance execution tools and calculators
Analyze incentive engagement trends, including submission quality and acceptance rates
Support ad hoc leadership requests related to execution mechanics, pricing scenarios, and field readiness
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent professional experience
2-5 years of experience in sales operations, execution, content operations, or commercial support
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple workflows and systems simultaneously
Comfortable reviewing engagement data and identifying trends
Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
Experience in CPG, DSD, or distributor environments preferred
