Job Description

This position is responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness in each guest room. Guest Room Attendants refresh rooms for guests who are continuing their stay, as well as, thoroughly clean rooms of guests who have checked out in preparation for the next guest checking in. This position will also will provide turndown services of guest rooms, occasional full servicing of guest rooms and complete any additional duties as assigned by the PM Supervisor/Manager in accordance with Omni standards.



Responsibilities

    Perform all the functions of a Room Attendant and Houseperson as needed and warmly greet all of our guests.
  • Offer assistance and information to our guests.
  • Clean guest rooms according to Omni's standards for Room Attendants.
  • Provide water and ice to guests.
  • Offer guests towels, pillows and other services/amenities.
  • Change linens, turn-down bed.
  • Complete other duties as assigned by management.


Qualifications

  • Prior housekeeping experience required or other relevant environmental services experience
  • Good customer service and verbal communication skills (must be able to answer basic questions about services and amenities, give directions to guests)
  • Maintain professional, friendly demeanor
  • Possess a high standard of cleanliness and organization
  • Must be able to work flexible shifts which includes evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Stand or walk for an extended period or for an entire work shift. Requires frequent bending, reaching overhead and squatting. Lift, carry, and place objects weighing up to 30 lbs. without assistance. Push/pull objects weighing up to 75 lbs. without assistance.
