Position Title: Project Coordinator I
Work Location: US-IL-Lake County (1 N Waukegan Road)
Assignment Duration: 3 months
Work Schedule: Part-time, 16 hours per week. Typically two 8-hour days (Wednesday & Thursday), with flexibility to spread hours across Tuesday-Thursday.
Work Arrangement: Onsite Position Summary:
The Project Coordinator ensures the efficient daily operation of the EEDI office by managing administrative tasks, providing support to staff and management, and maintaining a well-organized environment.
This role requires exceptional proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Background & Context:
This role supports the EEDI (Equity, Equality, Diversity & Inclusion) team by providing administrative and coordination support for an enterprise-wide learning and development program. Key Responsibilities:
Maintain the team's SharePoint site and digital file folders to ensure all documents are organized, easy to find, and consistently up to date.
Keep project files organized and assist in tracking project tasks to ensure timely completion.
Provide meeting support, including scheduling meetings, managing team calendars, and coordinating office hours.
Assist in creating and formatting PowerPoint presentations, Word documents, and status reports, ensuring high-quality and professional formatting.
Execute rigorous follow-up on assigned tasks and actions to support project progress and accountability.
Automate tasks using Outlook rules and Word templates.
Create professional materials such as reports and presentations for leadership.
Manage data in Excel for inventory and tracking.
Ensure consistency across documents and presentations.
Qualification & Experience:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint).
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working independently.
Experience level: 1-3 years.
