Role Summary: Reporting to the Department or Location Manager, the Construction Project Manager is a key member of our team. The Construction Project Manager is responsible for managing and overseeing projects from start to finish. The person in this role will plan, coordinate, and execute projects to ensure they are completed on time and within budget. The Construction Project Manager will work closely with customers, contractors, and suppliers to deliver high-quality solutions that meet our clients' needs.

Exciting work you will do:

The essential duties and responsibilities of the Construction Project Manager position will consist of, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Manage and oversee construction projects from inception to completion
  • Meet with customers to understand their requirements and ensure proper execution of projects
  • Manage large scale material scheduling and delivery projects with multiple contractors and suppliers
  • Plan and allocate resources effectively to meet project deadlines
  • Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution
  • Review project specifications, drawings, and bid documents to perform material takeoffs
  • Select appropriate products and quantities to meet project specifications and evaluate alternative solutions
  • Maintain professional communication with customers and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and standards
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned

What you'll need:

  • Work Experience: 1 year of experience in project management or 3 years of experience managing opportunity pipelines and vendor relationships
  • Education: High School diploma or GED
  • Analytics/Computer Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, intermediate Excel usage, and the ability to collaborate with technical resources
  • Organization Skills: Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to multi-task and shift priorities as needed
  • Cross-functional Skills: Ability to work well cross-functionally and provide excellent customer service
  • Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, and written/verbal communication skills
  • Physical, Mental and Visual Skills: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Qualifications we prefer but don't require:

  • Work Experience: 5+ years' experience managing opportunity pipeline and vendor relationships
  • Analytics/Computer Skills: Knowledge of Solar Eclipse software, Smartsheets, SharePoint
