Overview LMI is seeking a skilled Senior Acquisition Consultant - Aviation to support the OSW(Acquisition) Air Platforms and Weapons (APW) office at the Pentagon in Arlington, VA. The position requires providing a broad range of support to Government clients focused on mission engineering, acquisition, high-level engagement, and oversight support for air platforms and weapons. The candidate will support the office with high level products to guide coordinated and streamlined weapons acquisition messaging for the F-35 Lightning II aircraft and other activities.The candidate must be able to work independently as well as in a team setting and support client meetings and related engagements. Acquisition/Program Support: Developing and leading briefings at the "executive" level within OSD and the Services. Working with the applicable Service acquisition offices to answer recurring requests for information from ASD(A), USD(A&S), and other OSW principals/organizations, and coordinate OSW and Service actions on the assigned portfolio of programs.
Qualifications
