Business Analyst - TRS

Job Summary: The Business Data Analyst serves as a critical link between IT, store operations, and crossfunctional business and IT teams. This role supports Tempur Retail Stores (TRS) and operations by ensuring systems, processes, and data are accurate, stable, and aligned with business needs. The analyst contributes to both daily operational support and strategic initiatives, providing insights, testing expertise, and strong communication across technical and nontechnical teams.

Essential Duties, Responsibilities, and Key Results Area:



  • Provide technical and operational support for retail stores, ensuring timely issue resolution.
  • Support TRSrelated initiatives by contributing to planning, execution, testing, and on time delivery of project milestones.
  • Act as a liaison between IT and store operations to drive troubleshooting, process improvement, and solution enhancements.
  • Represent IT business interests during system design meetings and software configuration planning sessions.
  • Identify and bridge operational and process gaps across departments, especially where retail knowledge or alignment is needed.
  • Support the operational lifecycle for store openings and closings, ensuring system (POS) and data readiness.
  • Oversee and execute daily TRS support operations to maintain system performance and reliability on POS systems and peripherals.
  • Perform and document D365 regression testing to validate system functionality and mitigate business risk.
  • Provide TRS Store Operation Assist (SOA) support to ensure smooth integration and efficient crosssystem workflows.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with both technical and nontechnical audiences.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues who bring different perspectives, working styles, and priorities.
  • Facilitate brainstorming and working sessions for requirement gathering, problemsolving, and solution design.
  • Apply a broad, enterprisewide mindset when evaluating processes, issues, or opportunities.

  • Maintain working knowledge of core IT infrastructure and its relevance to retail systems - POS and peripherals.
  • Demonstrate proficiency with business applications, including strategy, implementation, and optimization.
  • Work with business users to develop, document, and execute test cases and test scenarios.
  • Coordinate and support enduser testing and training to ensure successful system adoption.
  • Apply strong analytical and criticalthinking skills to interpret data, identify trends, and recommend improvements.
  • Contribute timely and accurate updates to project status reporting, including risks, issues, and progress.
  • Support crossfunctional decisionmaking by providing clear, databacked insights and recommendations.



Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2-5 years of experience in business analysis, data analysis, retail systems support, or a similar IT/business operations role.
  • Experience supporting retail operations or storebased systems preferred.
  • Prior exposure to testing processes, system implementations, or software configuration is a plus.

Work Environment/Physical Requirements: Fast-paced corporate office environment. Some stress may occur. Regular travel is not expected in this position; however, travel around scheduled projects such as program rollouts will be necessary.
