Business Finance Intern - Summer 2026

As a Business Finance Intern, you will play a meaningful role in supporting the financial health and decision-making of the organization. Your work will directly contribute to insightful analysis to enable strategic decision-making, short-term & long-term planning.

We are seeking candidates for a Business Finance Intern to join our Global Finance team for the summer. This internship offers hands-on experience in financial analysis, modeling, and reporting while providing exposure to real-world business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance global lab operating cost model to perform site level cost analysis
• Analyze lab financial data and identify trends or variances
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather microscopy and metrology data and model a financial framework for the internal costs running the labs
• Support preparation of financial reports and presentations for senior leadership

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or MBA degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment cross-functionally

• Experience withdata visualization tools(Power BI, Tableau) is a plus
• Strong communication skills to collaborate and build positive relationships with others

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories - On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. 'On-site Flex' you'll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. 'Virtual Flex' you'll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
