Acara Solutions is seeking highly qualified candidates to work onsite with our client in Buffalo, NY. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

  • This position will be for the Security Systems Integration Team that handles Operational work for Cybersecurity Infrastructure Engineering.
  • The team currently supports Proxy, AD, AD Reporting, GPO, and File System technology, and we are building out to take on new tech every quarter.
  • The right candidate will be handling day-to-day incidents and requests, and automated run book patching for the tech listed above, plus identifying continuous improvement opportunities, including work that could be automated.
  • Serves as a technologist for an individual technology or set of technologies.
  • Work closely with Technology management, more experienced Engineers, and support teams regularly to implement and manage the design, development, and execution of technical solutions that meet or exceed current and future needs of the organization.
  • Responsibilities may include infrastructure review, implementation, and design, creation of support and architectural documentation, standards, policies, analysis, and testing.
  • Regularly and independently interact with business partners of varying associate and management levels to ensure clarity of the problem/opportunity and elicit business requirements.
  • Facilitate meetings and conference calls with vendors, internal staff, and senior professionals.
  • Mentor and coach less experienced engineers, technicians, and integrators.
  • Review documentation, proposals, and changes proposed by less experienced staff.
  • Seek to expand knowledge and understanding of financial services trends, practices, and technologies continuously.
  • Follow and promote the use of industry best practices, standards, and procedures.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of specific systems and services supported by the department.
  • Work with senior technical staff to understand, manage, and support elements of the client service catalog.
  • Understand and adhere to the Company's risk and regulatory standards, policies, and controls in accordance with the Company's Risk Appetite.
  • Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management.
  • Promote an environment that supports diversity and reflects the client brand.
  • Maintain client internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points, together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.
  • Complete other related duties as assigned.

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $38.87-$64.79/hour.

Hours: 40 hrs/Week.

Length: Contract (12 Months).
