Personnel Security Generalist - Entry Level

• Clearance Processing: Receive, review, and submit requests for investigations and security clearances.
• Investigation Management: Monitor investigation statuses, conduct preliminary checks (e.g., credit, background), and coordinate fingerprinting.
• Security Briefings: Conduct initial, refresher, and INFOSEC (Information Security) briefings.
• Record Keeping: Maintain personnel security files, track metrics, and ensure data accuracy in systems like SIMS.
• Compliance: Ensure adherence to security policies, handle classified materials, and manage access for the collateral program.
• Coordination: Liaise with applicants, employees, and investigative agencies to facilitate security processes.
• Visitor and Access Control: Manage visitor access requests, maintain visitor logs, and ensure compliance with access control policies.

• Document Control Program: Support the management of classified and sensitive documents, ensuring proper handling, storage, and destruction in accordance with regulations.
• Security Education Awareness Training (SETA): Assist in developing and delivering security awareness training programs to educate employees on best practices and compliance requirements.
• Physical Security: Support physical security operations, including badge issuance, facility access control, and monitoring security systems.
• COMSEC: Assist in the management of Communications Security (COMSEC) equipment and procedures, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.

• 2 years of PERSEC experience.
• Familiarity with personnel security processes and systems, such as DISS, NBIS, or e-App.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing requirements.
• Knowledge of NISPOM and other relevant security regulations.

• Active DoD Secret clearance (or higher) preferred, with the ability to obtain and maintain additional clearances as needed.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
