What You'll Do:

As a General Manager of Initiation Systems Value Chain, you will lead and manage all IS/PE Supply Chain/Value Chain activities, including but not limited to; production planning, raw material procurement planning, inventory control, third party finished good purchases, and providing support and visibility to logistics and distribution activities across all channels to market for Dyno Nobel Americas. Other duties include:

  • Responsible for developing, deploying and leading Initiating Systems Supply Planning Process, supporting the owners in decision making and aligning supply plans to meet the needs of the customer, while delivering strategic objectives.
  • Manager Initiating Systems Supply Planning change pland and ensure organizational adoption and acceptance of the Integration Business Planning process to improve control and utilization of Dyno Nobel Americas upstream and downstream resources.
  • Providing support and visibility of logistics, distribution, and processes for Initiating Systems products with focus to ensure the Safe, Secure and On-Time Delivery to a myriad of destinations.
  • Responsible for market analysis, the review of manufacturing capacity assessment and supply chain optimization to improve Dyno Nobel Americas ability to service current and future customer demand.
  • Form and lead cross-functional teams as required to resolve projected imbalances and issues.
  • Identify risks and lead mitigation efforts relating to our ability to service forecasted (short and long term) Initiating Systems customer demand.
  • Drive and support Initiation Systems (IS) Value Chain optimization for Dyno Nobel Americas to best deliver the business strategy and growth aspirations/targets.
  • Support and run multiple concurrent initiatives across the full value chain while partnering with key business stakeholders to identify and deliver optimization opportunities.
  • Define inventory plans by product family and sub-family to balance service levels and financial metrics, while aligning with product line strategy.
  • Ensure continuous improvement in slow movement and obsolete inventory levels.

What We're Looking For:

  • Master's degree or bachelor's degree with applicable experience required - Preferably in Supply Chain/Logistics related field
  • 10+ years experience in a Supply Chain environment with progressively increasing professional responsibility
  • Proven leader who has successfully created highly functioning teams
  • Understanding of Transfer Pricing Regulations and NAFTA Compliance
  • Proven capability in data analysis - ability to gather, manipulate and analyze data to make data driven decisions that yield the best possible business outcome
  • Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and a team player
