Peraton is seeking an accomplished Technical Project Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of engineering and technology-focused projects supporting the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). This role will lead multidisciplinary teams through project lifecycles, ensuring that all technical deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and aligned with FAA standards and mission objectives. The ideal candidate combines strong technical acumen with proven project management experience, possessing the ability to translate complex system requirements into executable project plans. This role requires exceptional communication, leadership, and analytical skills to drive collaboration between engineering, IT, logistics, and program stakeholders. In this position, you will:
Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of complex technical and engineering projects supporting FAA operations. The FAA's modernization and mission success depend on efficient execution of highly technical projects that enhance the safety, capacity, and reliability of the National Airspace System (NAS). As a Technical Project Manager, your leadership ensures that technical teams operate cohesively, risks are mitigated early, and project outcomes directly support the FAA's strategic initiatives in aviation safety, cybersecurity, and infrastructure advancement. Target Salary Range $135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
