Pay Range: $76,000 - $109,000

Job Summary: The Senior Insights Manager is responsible for delivering actionable insights that drive business improvements and strategies critical to improving the customer experience across their journey. This position partners with teams across both Tempur Sealy and Mattress Firm at both the store and corporate levels to drive the business with quantitative and qualitative analytics, insights, and recommendations. The role works with cross-functional teams, consults with internal business stakeholders, and is dedicated to a data-driven culture. The Senior Insights Manager uses analytical and storytelling skills to surface meaningful insights in a compelling, proactive, and relevant way to drive innovation and business outcomes.

What You'll Do (Essential Duties and Responsibilities):



  • Conduct quantitative research and analyses (survey design, programming, analysis, and reporting) as well as qualitative research and analyses (e.g., discussion guide design, synthesizing open ended responses into themes) resulting in actionable recommendations.
  • Design, execute, and deliver insight studies to uncover consumer needs and solutions that elevate the "voice of the consumer" in all key development initiatives.
  • Be an expert in data analysis, visualization, reporting, and storytelling in order to turn customer feedback and other operational data into actionable insights to improve customer experience.
  • Collaborate with partners to deliver predictive and prescriptive insight, integrating advanced analytics, behavioral data, and AI-driven modeling.
  • Enhance and scale process to deliver timely, accurate, and actionable analytics, insights, and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with other internal teams, across both Tempur Sealy and Mattress Firm, and external partners to enhance insights and create a holistic view of the customer that informs priorities, journey mapping, and brand health.
  • Communicate effectively with business partners, translating complex ideas into compelling, actionable recommendations, data visualizations, and dashboards.
  • Serve as a key member of the Customer Insights team, advising business partners on best research methods given business goals.
  • Maintain a strong pulse on market trends, competition, and customer feedback. Stay abreast of how AI and emerging digital technologies are reshaping the Consumer Shopping Journey - from search and consideration to purchase and post-purchase engagement.
  • Speak up and defend the consumer POV while successfully building productive working relationships with colleagues.
  • Regular travel is anticipated in this position to support research projects and visit Somnigroup offices across the United States
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What You'll Need (Qualifications):



  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant field preferred


  • Master's Degree preferred
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); Microsoft 365 and data management software


  • 5+ Years marketing and/or customer insights/analytics experience
  • 5+ Years experience in customer insights, research or consulting
  • Experience using data and research to drive decisions.
