Spectrum's Corporate Tax team seeks a Senior Tax Accountant - Transactional Tax who thrives on delivering rigorous tax research and insightful data analysis to strengthen our transaction tax processes. How You'll Make an Impact Support all efforts for tax assurance, including customer billing and compliance Document and research compliance tax data variances Validate the reflection of the current month's tax rate/rule changes in billing data Perform audits of house geocode assignments for all company billing systems Validate, test, and document all tax calculation engine configuration changes on a monthly basis Conduct monthly validation of billing code configurations specific to tax across all billers Provide support for ad hoc reporting requests related to the monthly transaction tax data flow Offer assistance with tax estimates Coordinate and communicate with various members of the tax, accounting, and billing departments Compile and communicate detailed data in a comprehensive and understandable format, both in written and verbal forms Conduct research and preparing support documentation for sales and use tax audits Working Conditions Office environment What You'll Bring to Spectrum Required Qualifications Education Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field Experience 3+ years of transactional tax billing or audit review 3+ years of data analysis Skills Ability to read, write, speak and understand English Proficient in Microsoft Office Experience with SQL a plus Experience with various tax systems including tax engines (Vertex, Suretax) Ability to research and resolve technical tax issues Ability to analyze and interpret data Experience with efficient processing of large data sets and/or data investigation Strong verbal and written communications skills Able to proactively identify risks before they become problems Ability to work independently Knowledge of telecommunications industry #LI-JR4 FTX330 2025-67277 2025 Here, our employees don't just have jobs, they're building careers.
