Job Description




As a Security Officer - Healthcare Patrol Specialist in Danvers, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and promote a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and adhering to site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Observe and report any unusual conditions or activities within the location to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives as required.
  • Collaborate with staff and visitors to provide assistance or information related to security-related matters within the healthcare environment.
  • Complete all required reports and documentation in a timely and accurate manner as directed by Allied Universal procedures.
  • Participate in ongoing training sessions and maintain awareness of current security-related protocols relevant to the healthcare setting.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • CPR or first aid certification is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
