Short Description The Analytics Developer will create reports, data visualizations and analytical solutions that deliver actionable information to business leaders. He/she will primarily utilize the Power BI analytics and visualization platform to create, deploy and maintain reusable analytical solutions, including semantic models, interactive visual dashboards, as well as other types of data products. He/she will analyze and troubleshoot user issues resulting from the use of analytical solutions developed. He/she will champion the process of redesigning dashboards that are manual today and deploying them for end users to access and use the information on demand Partner with leaders across the organization to understand existing business problems with the primary objective of recommending analytical solutions including reports and data visualizations 2. Design, develop and enhance PowerBI visualizations including highly interactive reports, scorecards and dashboards, leveraging the full range of PowerBI features 3. Utilize advanced SQL skills and enabling tools (e.g., Python, PySpark) to perform data exploration, preparation /modelling necessary to build the foundational data models and architecture needed to support the development of desired analytical solutions 4. Work with our Business intelligence and other data teams to ensure that data warehouse requirements drive the necessary enhancements and evolution around the information we access. 5. Deliver offline / ad-hoc reporting as needed to business partners, including manual and automated delivery, as necessary. 6. Provide maintenance and enhancement support to our internal dashboard solution to ensure continued reliability and accuracy for our users. 7. Perform data validation and quality assurance to ensure internal dashboard product meets established standards 8. Support efforts to create /code, test, deploy and support data-driven predictive/descriptive analytical models using R, Python or other data science tools 9. Perform detailed data analysis as needed (i.e. determine structure, content, and quality of data through examination of source systems and data samples) 10. Provide end user support to ensure comprehension of analytics, via Q&A or training sessions Experience Required 3 to 5 years of experience in business analytics and performing quantitative and qualitative analytics, preferably in the healthcare industry 1 to 2 years of experience working with advanced features in PowerBI. Demonstrated knowledge of best practices in data visualization Experience modeling, wrangling and interpreting large data sets to inform decision- making, leveraging tools such as Python, MS Data Factory, or Tableau Prep. Previous experience working with healthcare (operational /financial) data and healthcare EMR systems (Epic, Clarity, Caboodle) highly preferred. Project management / Scrum master experience a plus Experience developing applications that include data input/SQL Writeback using React Framework , or similar toolset, is a plus Experience writing scripts to automate business processes using MS Power automate, Python or other tools a plus Education Requirements Masters required Master's degrees in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics or Business Analytics) with focus on Business Analytics License/Certification Requirements Epic Caboodle and Clarity certifications desirable.
