*Job Description: Lockbox Data Entry Specialist* *Overview*
We are seeking a detail-oriented *Lockbox Data Entry Specialist* to join our team. This role primarily focuses on accurately entering and verifying information from digital check images into the Busey system. The ideal candidate will have strong 10-key data entry skills and thrive in a fast-paced environment where precision and efficiency are essential. *Key Responsibilities* * Perform accurate data entry of check details (deposit amount, name verification, date, etc.) into the designated system. * Verify information on digital copies of checks to ensure accuracy and compliance. * Sort and organize bulk mail deliveries into appropriate staging areas. * *Wholesale Group (Lower Volume, Higher Dollar Amount):* * Open incoming lockbox mail and process checks manually. * Enter deposit amounts using 10-key data entry into the correct accounts. * *Retail Group (Higher Volume, Lower Dollar Amount):* * Operate automated mail-opening machines to process envelopes efficiently. *Skills & Qualifications* * *Required:* * Previous 10-key data entry experience (preferably in a financial services environment). * Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and verification. * Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a high-volume setting. * *Preferred:* * 1 year of retail banking or lockbox experience. * Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications. *Additional Competencies* * Excellent oral and written communication skills. * Knowledge of regulations, policies, and procedures related to financial transactions. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. *Education & Training* * High School diploma or equivalent required. *Experience Level* * Entry-level *Job Type & Location*This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Creve Coeur, MO. *Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr.
