Contact Center Representative Location: Naperville, IL (Onsite) Schedule: 35-hour work week \| Monday-Friday Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour Contract Duration: 6 Months (Potential for Permanent Hire) About the Role We are seeking a Contact Center Representative to be the first point of contact for members and deliver exceptional service. This role is critical to maintaining the organization's reputation and ensuring member satisfaction. You will assist with first-call resolution, provide account information, recommend products, and process financial transactions-all while creating a positive experience for every member. Key Responsibilities * Serve as the first line of contact for members, resolving inquiries and issues promptly. * Explain and recommend credit union products and services. * Provide general account information and details on promotions. * Assist members with online banking registration and usage. * Process financial transactions including loan payments, transfers, and check withdrawals. * Handle a wide variety of calls, including fraud cases, product referrals, and account troubleshooting. * Maintain compliance with policies and deliver service aligned with organizational standards. Qualifications * 2+ years of customer service experience in financial services (banking or insurance). * Comfortable with upselling products and services. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Strong computer proficiency and ability to learn new systems quickly. * Consistent work history (minimum 1.5+ years at previous roles). * High School diploma or equivalent required.
