Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education

• First Aid, AED and CPR certified

• Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and/or Strength & Conditioning Coach Certified (SCCC)

• At least one year experience working with collegiate or professional athletes

Preferred Qualifications:

• At least three years of previous Assistant Strength & Conditioning experience

• Experience with Power 5 Football Strength & Conditioning

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Knowledge of NCAA and SEC rules and regulations

• Ability to communicate in a service oriented and collaborative spirit

• Ability to handle and maintain confidential information

• Proven ability to work effectively in a diverse community

• Ability to motivate athletes and create a positive, competitive training environment

• Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and travel

Additional Information:

This position is renewable annually based on continued need for the position, availability of funding, and satisfactory job performance.
