CGL is a provider of justice facility planning, design, and program management and maintenance solutions to justice facilities and other public facilities throughout the U.S. and internationally. CGL Facility Management, LLC provides comprehensive contract facility maintenance services to commercial clients.

A Brief Overview
Reporting to the Director of Environmental Health & Safety, the Fleet Manager is in charge CGL Companies' side-by-sides, golf carts, MEWPs, and other rolling equipment which includes all purchasing of vehicles and equipment per company guidelines and procedures and acts as chief advisor on fleet operations to the Director of Environmental Health & Safety.

What you will do



  • Develops and maintains fleet operations procedures as directed by the Director of Environmental Health & Safety.
  • Issues equipment ID's and maintains records for all equipment.
  • Oversees disposition and sale process of company fleet vehicles.
  • Advises management on equipment program direction and issues, including procurement through manufacturer fleet based programs.
  • Identifies and monitors key data points related to fleet health and optimization.
  • Maintains fleet management system to ensure records are current.
  • Oversees and monitors vehicle maintenance records to ensure that the fleet is maintained in accordance with established standards and that policies and practices are properly followed.
  • Coordinates all infleeting activities including, timely new vehicle acceptance, PDI, installation of tags and other proprietary items making vehicle ready to deploy.
  • Interfaces with the accounting department and ensures all updates and expensing are current and comprehensive.
  • Monitors and provides oversight and guidance for preventive maintenance and repair programs for all company vehicles.
  • Works with Risk Management and Insurance to ensure vehicles have proper and updated insurance cards.
  • Oversees, prepares, manages, updates, and audits all equipment and fleet monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
  • Interfaces with outside vendors to ensure updated registration on all company vehicles.
  • Manages and updates all equipment documents and procedures.
  • Maintains and files all paperwork as applicable and based on company guidelines and procedures.


Qualifications



  • Associate's Degree Preferred and
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration Preferred
  • 4-6 years experience in fleet maintenance management or operations capacity within the auto/diesel industry. Required and
  • experience in fleet maintenance/management and supervision management. Preferred
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity and working knowledge of vehicle maintenance, collision repair, systems, components, and design.
  • Must possess excellent communication, coaching, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to influence and make decisions by applying independent judgment
  • Strong computer skills including, proficient in use of Excel and MS Office.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Requires a detail oriented, independent thinker who has ability to be a part of a team and demonstrates strong attention to detail, and demonstrate knowledge of fleet service practices and procedures and equipment processing and ordering.
  • Must demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills, particularly the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and vendors.
