What You'll Be Doing:
  • Defining comprehensive requirement specifications for complex features within advanced simulation tools.
  • Serving as the regional subject matter expert in at least one key product area, providing technical leadership and guidance.
  • Collaborating with a world-wide team of field application engineers to converge on requirements that represent the needs of multiple customers.
  • Developing and delivering training and educational material to empower customers and internal teams.
  • Mentoring junior engineers, fostering their growth and technical development.
  • Independently identifying and driving solutions to technical challenges, ensuring timely and thorough delivery of high-quality work.
  • Acting as a bridge between customers and R&D, ensuring customer feedback shapes product evolution.

What You'll Need:
  • BS in Electrical Engineering or related field with 12 years' experience, MS with 10 years' experience, or PhD with 7 years' experience.
  • Extensive commercial experience developing HFSS methodologies for semiconductor or RF simulations.
  • Demonstrated leadership and a proven track record of delivering state-of-the-art results on complex engineering problems.
  • Expert-level proficiency with HFSS, SIwave, and Icepak/Mechanical tools.
  • Python programming skills for automation and tool customization.
  • Experience managing and mentoring small technical teams.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into actionable software roadmaps and technical plans.
