The Manager of Finance and Special Projects is responsible for key financial reporting and analysis including the Global Biomaterials Contribution Statement and related dividend calculations. This role supports budgeting, forecasting, transfer pricing, and profitability analysis while driving data, system, and reporting improvements. This position also partners with Business Intelligence, develops specialized P&Ls, and implements tools and processes that enhance the accuracy and efficiency of financial reporting. DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ownership of preparation and validation for the global biomaterials contribution statement, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and compliance with contract terms and conditions
- Ownership of the world-wide biomaterial dividend calculation as well as related approval and payment workflow
- Provide budgeting and forecasting support for the ACE company
- Provide transfer pricing support to BioHorizons including but not limited to: routinely review performance, recommend mark-up changes, and draft true-up adjustments
- Provide analysis and decision-making support to BioHorizons for company pricing, discounting, and customer promotion profitability
- Participate in strategic data initiatives, such as master data management (MDM) projects
- Collaborate with the Business Intelligence function as development opportunities arise
- Lead or participate in system alignment and transparency improvement projects, whether at the group or local level
- Develop specialized P&Ls (product, geographic, or similar), to increase the transparency and effectiveness of management reporting for decision-making, performance management, and other purpose
QUALIFICATIONS
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Advanced MS Excel skills including mastery of pivot tables and volatile functions for data manipulation, consolidation, and financial analysis
- Adept with ERP and EPM software such as Oracle, SAP, Dynamics, or similar
- Familiarity with business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, PowerPoint, OneNote, and Teams
- SQL, Python, and other database querying or development skills preferred
- Project management skills with a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE *Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field *7+ years experience in general ledger accounting, cost accounting, corporate finance, financial planning & analysis, or other related areas *3+ years of experience in project management, process improvement, or leading cross-functional financial projects
