Hammer & Die Repair Person PRIMARY DUTIES include, but not limited to: The Hammer & Die Repairperson will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and safety of the mill by repairing and preparing forging hammers, press dies, and other wearable components for use in Carpenter's forging equipment. They will provide expertise using welding/cutting, heat treating, milling, and grinding equipment, and are required to inspect, test, calibrate, repair, install, fabricate, construct, adjust, lubricate, maintain, dismantle and clean all hammers and dies, and work in conjunction with other maintenance crafts.
