The University of Arizona's Athletics Department invites you to apply to the role of Assistant Coach, Women's Soccer. The Athletics Department is dedicated to excellence in collegiate sports, building a modern model of intercollegiate athletics fostering integrity, innovation, and student-athlete success. This is a fulltime, benefits eligible position whose function is to assist the head coach in all facets of coaching a Division I women's soccer program. Incumbent will perform on-field coaching, recruiting and liaison with department support services. This position requires the ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends, and travel for competition and recruiting. | Duties & Responsibilities |
- Assist head coach with facilitating the academic and athletic development of every soccer student-athlete.
- Assist in the recruitment of prospective student-athletes within the guidelines of the Big 12 Conference and the NCAA.
- Train non-travel team when not on travel status.
- Implement individual development plans (IDP's).
- Coaching student-athletes at all practices and games.
- Running split training sessions at home.
- Work cooperatively and provide positive energy as a member of the staff.
- Recruit qualified student-athletes.
- Coordinate and advance recruiting, alumni, and community relations.
- Perform video analysis and opponent scouting.
- Work closely with the compliance office to assure the program follows University, Big 12 Conference and NCAA regulations.
- Budget accountability.
- Additional duties as assigned.

| Minimum Qualifications |
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Coaching experience at the college or club level.
- Must have a valid driver's license and ability to drive according to the University Fleet Safety Policy

| Preferred Qualifications |
- Proven track record of success in the sport.
- Coaching licenses (USSF, NSCAA, UEFA, FA).
- Practical experience in video analysis and Sportscode/Hudl.
