As this is a hybrid role, working out of our Creative Studios in Westlake, Ohio, we will focus on candidates that currently reside in Northeast Ohio.
The eCommerce Merchandising Content Specialist is responsible for creating, optimizing, and maintaining product content across eCommerce Retailer platforms to drive online visibility, engagement, and sales. This position oversees product detail page content, develops SEO-friendly product copy, manages item setup processes, and supports overall site merchandising strategies to ensure all content and assets meet brand standards and retailer requirements. This role collaborates cross-functionally with Product Management, Marketing, Creative Partners, Sales and Operations to ensure a seamless end-to-end go to market approach for seasonal and everyday assortments. In order to be successful in this role, candidates must bring a strong, hands-on understanding of the key platforms and tools that drive online product performance. This includes demonstrated experience working in Salsify to manage product context and optimize digital shelves, as well as proved SEO expertise to enhance product discoverability and drive traffic. In addition, candidates should have solid experience navigating Vendor Central, including the ability to set up items, manage product data, and support ongoing item maintenance within the platform. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Product Detail Page Asset & Content Creation Strategy Strategize - create and maintain copy and image style guide standards *Write and optimized product descriptions, titles and bullet features with SEO-infused copy to improve organic visibility and rankings - work with Marketing team to understand keyword metrics *Develop and implement best-in-class content strategy to best optimize conversion and enhance consumer experience Item Set Up & Site Merchandising - Own and execute the full item set up process following a calendar of seasonal and everyday program launches on-time *Work cross-functionally with Product Management to acquire product information - syndicate all item information over to retailer to ensure a seamless item set up *Coordinate the development of assets such as product photography and video requests, including submitting work requests, providing product numbers and samples, and giving art direction Conduct Site Audits and Execute Needed Changes *Conduct weekly and seasonal PDP audits to identify discrepancies and implemented corrections *Ensure an accurate source of truth is maintained Support Retailer Needs *Support Sales/Ops with retailer requests as they pertain to Merchandising *Ensure Retailer portal system reflects accurate item detail information to support successful purchase ordering from the retailer | |
