Business Development/Sales Support Representative



  • Hourly range $17.00-$20.00, depending on experience.
  • New Business Development Commission Program


Generate qualified leads for the sale of products/services/solutions to businesses and industrial establishments via telephone and/or email. Responsible for marketing of the company's product and/or services via telephone. In addition, provide field training / customer support for customers who have purchased and/or leased Toshiba Equipment. Ensure customers understand how to effectively operate equipment resulting in positive Toshiba experience

Responsibilities:



  • Generate prospective customers through cold-calling and email to qualify leads with goal of setting appointments for the sales team. Gather sales lead intelligence about prospective customers. Contact current customer base as assigned to generate up-sell or cross-selling opportunities for the sales team. Meet aggressive call quotas/targets as set by management.
  • Provide Customer training on purchased and/or leased Toshiba equipment. Handle complex questions regarding product operability. Ensure Customers have full understanding of equipment operation and capabilities to maximize usage and generate interest in additional equipment needs and other print management opportunities. Provide potential leads to sales team. May also train Toshiba sales/marketing staff on all Toshiba equipment.
  • Work closely with Service, Sales and Marketing department(s) to maintain accurate contact list and new equipment purchased or leased to set future appointments for field training. Monitor customer appointment schedule for timely field training appointments. Track appointment execution in the system and make changes as needed based on urgency and need
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.


Qualifications:



  • High School Diploma or GED
  • A minimum of three years of experience in a combination of the following: lead generation, telemarketing, call center or cold calling sales experience as well as customer support activity including basic equipment training and/or installation.
  • Must have strong communication skills with ability to speak professionally to perspective customers
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment with changing priorities
  • Demonstrated ability to be flexible and act promptly to requests
  • Strong customer service/support skills with ability to resolve issues by phone and/or in person
  • Good computer skills (experience with Microsoft Office Word, Excel and Outlook)
