Sprague is seeking a Product and Inventory Coordinator to join our Lawrence, NY Terminal team. The position entails managing all aspects of balancing inventory as well as office administration in a marine gasoline terminal.

Your responsibilities will include:



  • Inventory balancing, verifying, and reporting to all departments and customers (tax dept, schedulers, accounting, and all outside shippers)
  • Coordinating products with customer setup and customer care for accounts at the terminal
  • Updating and filing trailer inspections for supporting detail needed for Air Permit
  • Assisting in state terminal air inspections
  • Viewing, verifying, and running VRU Emissions reports for the rack documentation for the State/EPA Air regulations
  • Designating and verifying completion of the monthly terminal inspections. Updating forms and inputting into SPHERA as needed
  • Assisting drivers, sales representatives, and customers in the terminal driver certification process.
  • Correcting BOLs and communicating with internal and external stake holders
  • Assisting, testing, and supporting the IT department with testing of new versions and rack updates of the terminal automation system
  • Updating Safety Data Sheets and Terminal Sustainability Worksheets
  • Assist scheduling contractors and coordinating with terminal staff
  • Scheduling deliveries of gases for VRU as well as scheduling quarterly/biennial/annual inspections for various equipment (VRU/ Compressor/ pipeline testing/ etc) throughout the terminal
  • Providing administrative support for two terminals including record keeping, coding and approving invoices, payroll backup, and maintaining and ordering supplies



Qualified candidates for this role will have the following:



  • Safety minded
  • Five plus years' experience in an administrative/office management role with a focus on numbers
  • Strong numerical aptitude as well as verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to provide detail-oriented, precise, and accurate information
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to organize workload, and complete tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment and under tight deadlines
  • Proven positive change agent within an organization with ability to optimize workflows
  • Self-starter able to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Flexible and able to adapt to the changing needs of the terminal
  • Strong computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel (ability to write formulas). Must be comfortable learning and working with multiple systems and user interfaces simultaneously
  • Ability to communicate at all levels and with a diverse constituent
  • Can do attitude

The salary range for this position is $31 to $38 per hour, based on experience.
