Office of the Registrar

Job Description

Join the Registrar's Office in an exciting role that connects you with faculty, staff, and students in areas critical to the success of the university! We are looking for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys problem-solving, has strong communication skills, and is eager to learn. Responsibilities

  • Curriculum Committee Support:
    • Serve as secretary for the Campus Curriculum Committee by setting agendas and recording meeting minutes, reviewing curricula submissions and ensuring accuracy and error-free forms
    • Manage curriculum software, provide training to departments, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with university curriculum policies
    • A strong understanding of academic policy is essential to guide the committee in its decision-making
  • Campus Room Reservations:
    • Oversee all classroom reservations on campus-both academic and ad-hoc events-using the university's scheduling software
    • Ensure that all reservations comply with campus scheduling policies to maximize efficiency and meet the needs of the campus community
  • Commencement Program Coordination:
    • Take ownership of generating, editing, and verifying student names and various information for the Commencement program twice a year
    • This high-impact responsibility plays a key role in creating a memorable experience for graduates and their families
  • General Office Support:
    • Provide essential administrative support to the Registrar's Office, including answering inquiries, assisting with document preparation, maintaining records, and supporting team projects
    • This role requires flexibility and a commitment to excellent customer service for faculty, staff, and students
Shift

Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm

Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 1 year of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary

Anticipated Hiring Range

The anticipated hiring range for this position has been established as $18.87-$19.63 hourly.

Salary is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the individual's particular combination of education, skills, and experience, as well as organizational requirements.
